Salt Lake County

Big and Little Cottonwood Canyons


Chains or 4 wheel drive are required for all vehicles traveling SR-190 through Big Cottonwood Canyon and SR-210 through Little Cottonwood Canyon.

Little Cottonwood Canyon is closed until 8am for Avalanche control.  


Weber County

SR-158


SR-158 will be closed overnight starting 1/17 at 6 p.m. for avalanche control. The road will be closed between mile post 8 and mile post 11. Use an alternate route if possible.

Salt Lake/Summit Counties

Parleys Canyon 


Chains required EB/WB I-80 for Semis only through Parleys Canyon.   

Utah and Carbon Counties

US 6 Spanish Fork to Helper


Chains are required for all semis traveling eastbound and westbound US 6 from Spanish Fork to Helper.

Box Elder and Cache Counties

US 91 through Sardine Canyon


US Highway 91 from Mp 2 through Mp 17 (Sardine Canyon) is restricted to vehicles with chains or 4 wheel drive.

Utah County

SR-92, American Fork Canyon

US Highway 189

 


SR 92 through American Fork Canyon is restricted to vehicles with chains or 4 wheel drive only.

 US Highway 189 is closed in Provo Canyon from Mp 10 to Mp 13.  


Wasatch County

US-40


Chains/4x4 are required for all vehicles both directions on US-40 at MP 13 to MP 1.  

Iron County

SR-14


Semis are not permitted Eastbound SR-14 at milepost 1, through Cedar Canyon, due to weather.  Please use an alternate route.

Duchesne County

US-191/Indian Canyon


US-191 is closed at MP 264 due to an avalanche across the road. Unknown duration for clearance at this time.
